The Missing Content

Takween's Core Track

Takween's Missing content component is a think tank round table that engages selected scholars, artists & educators in articulating and formulating what they think is missing or has been made absent from the cultural content and cultural activism processes that is consumed by youth in Jordan and the Arab world. The Think Tank will be held on an annual basis with the objective to create applied modules for cultural intervention targeting youth across class socio economic strata and education.

The missing content process aims to select and identify critical and significantly important content that can be transformed to interactive websites as well as youth activism clubs. It will fill an absent void and provide a different perspective to the media bombarded and consumer oriented content currently consumed by our Arab youth. The Missing Content will also engage our youth masses in the pursuit of an alternative kind of knowledge that embraces Arab & Muslim Enlightenment, Modernity, Pluralism and Diversity as key and transformative components in the Arab and Muslim cultures.
